iMac G3 Grape

This is my most recent addition to my collection, a mint condition iMac G3 "tray-loader" in Grape.
This one is yet another story of my parents buying me a Mac, although I almost bought this Mac myself. I had agreed with the seller to get it, and then my parents secretly bought it before me, as it was a few weeks before Christmas and was a great present considering I was going to buy it anyway.
I almost paid $100AUD for it, which was pretty good. It came with the orignal grape coloured keyboard and puck mouse, and the install CDs including two retail CDs for Mac OS X 10.0 and 10.1.
It was almost fully working, but the flyback transformer was doing the dreaded flicker. I ended up forking over a lot of money for a new-old-stock flyback transformer, and successfully replaced it in January 2024.
It's a very early Revision C iMac, being produced in early January 1999 I believe, just after they went on sale.
